NOTE: When Remington started making the 870 20 gauge shotgun, they used the same receiver as they did with the 12 gauge.  So if you have an older 20 gauge shotgun, you may need to order a 12 gauge stock/forend set to fit the 20 gauge. A quick measurement of the slide tube should answer that question. The 12ga. slide tube is 1.080" and the 20ga. slide tube is .94".
